Three generations of hospitality

Grandma Stasia was a native of Kraków. She fell in love with my grandfather, and when the family refused to give their blessing for the wedding, she packed her bags and ran away after him to Krynica. I like to think that our adventure with hospitality began right then — with a highly romantic decision and the courage to choose a life on one’s own terms.
For years, people who came to Krynica-Zdrój for health, relaxation, and mountain peace stayed at my grandmother’s house. Then my mother, Irena, took over running it. Today, it is my turn — my name is Malwina — and I am doing it in a new form, but with the exact same need to create a place that feels good to return to.

Miód Malwina was built where the old wing of Grandma Stasia’s house used to stand. When it could no longer be saved, I created something completely fresh here: a bright, contemporary house with interiors that carry the traces of past generations. Antiques from my grandmother, family objects, and sentimental details meet Scandinavian simplicity, wood, black accents, and a touch of cheerful folk style.

That is why each apartment has its own distinct character: Studio 101 is cozy and artistic. Apartment 201 has the casual comfort of a small flat, while Loft 301 captures light, wood, and space right under the roof. I am responsible for the interiors, the atmosphere, and guest communication, while my mother welcomes you on-site and helps you start your stay on the right foot.

Welcome to our piece of Krynica — a place that grew out of a family home, female courage, and the simple desire to make our guests feel truly wonderful.
